Mother's Day (25 March)

The children of the Solidarity Foundation for Development kindergarten celebrated mother's day in the community center at Al-Basateen , today Tuesday, March 25, 2014 , with support and funding from the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) with the presence of Dr. Khadija Al-Hirsi ( President, Foundation for Solidarity for Development), Mr. Essam Wadi, Director of Civil Associations and Institutions in the Office of labor and Social Affairs in Aden , Mr. Sabri, representative of the local council of the Directorate of Dar Saad , and representatives of the UNHCR and a number of partner organizations , as well as the staff of the foundation. A number of kindergarten children participated in the ceremony with the presence of their mothers and a number of elders of the area.

Women's Day (8 March)
Solidarity Foundation for development celebrated International Women's day on
March 8 at its head office in Khormaksar. With the presence of fifty women who
took part in (the discussion session for the involvement of effective women in
the province of Aden to make a better future), which was carried out by
the foundation during the period from January 20 until February 6, 2014. 105
women from the province of Aden participated in the discussion session, which 
included five sessions and a concluding workshop.
